Among the many recent updates, Google Photos is currently rolling out a new memory collection for users around the world. This new feature is an artificial intelligence (AI) -generated memory collection called the “Best of Spring 2021”. This new AI-generated collection highlights the top images and videos users clicked this spring. As this new feature rolls out to users around the world, Google Photos is expected to add more directly personalized memory collections.
according to 9To5Google According to the report, the new memory collection feature will vary from user to user. Not all Google Photos users will see a similar collection due to factors such as location- and region-specific COVID-19 lockdowns.
Also, so far, the details of this feature remain unknown, and it is possible that users will not be able to see many variations in the memory collection due to flawed AI processing.
Earlier this year, Google created the “Best Winter 2020” memory collection. This collection focuses on the top images and videos that users have saved in the Google Photos gallery in the winter.
Last month, the company announced a number of new features in its photo gallery. In this collection, Google Photos highlights images of specific shapes and colors that are in your memory.
Meanwhile, Google also states that photo users can quickly see the assembled memories of new types of special occasions, especially festivals and days such as Diwali, Lunar New Year, Hanukkah. To further explain, Google claims that users can scroll through the Google Photos app’s photo grid to see the new best memories of the month and travel highlights.
