Autonomous driving test
Self-driving cars will soon be taken to the highway for testing in Beijing, the capital of China, as city officials have approved the gradual opening of several highway sections for unmanned vehicles.
The 10km highway between the city’s 5th and 6th ring roads will open first.
Six other highway sections will be opened later, adding an additional 143km section to the city’s highway test roads for self-driving cars.
